Hello All,

First joined and posted back in August when I was seeking some advice on some problems that I was having with my Colt GMT. A number of folks responded, and you all did a wonderful job easing my nerves.

Been visiting quite a bit since then, but never noticed that there was an intro forum, so alas, I am formally introducing myself.

I've attached pics of my first and only Breitling (soon to change :D ), a Colt GMT. It was a surprise birthday gift from my wife. On one of our first dates we happened to stroll by an AD and I paused to look at some Breitlings that were on display, commenting on how my ex-wife really didn't think spending money on a watch was good idea. My date however thought they were gorgeous (and I knew then that she was a keeper). Well, a little less than two years later (and 2 months after our wedding) she certainly surprised me.

Last week a purchased a Navi World, which unfortunately had to be ordered. My AD should hopefully be getting it this week, and I will certainly post more pics.

I would also like to throw out a hearty THANK YOU to the various contributors  . I am a novice when it comes to the world of wristwatches, and this site has provided a wealth of information for me over the last 5 months. Again, thank you for the time that you all devote to contributing to this site, and thank you for the patience that the vast majority of you have with us newbies.

Best - KS

PS - I know, I know - my Colt is in need of a good wash and polish!

Looks good, the same watch is on my wrist today. Congrats on the Navi World, looking forward to seeing some pics.

Welcome (formally), and congrats on the wife, the burthday, the Colt and the incoming World!

And of course I guess there are a wedding anniversary and a birthday coming up later this year as well, so which one are you getting for each of those?

Thank you all.

Unfortunately, I have a funny feeling that only other ling that I'll be buying any time soon is a starliner for wifey's wrist.

Although a Motors T would look good on my wrist.....
