Hello, everyone. I bought my first Breitling a few months ago and very soon afterwards found my way to this excellent site. I've learned a great deal and enjoyed eavesdropping on all the comeraderie, so finally decided to take the plunge. My watch is a Colt GMT on a Pro II. I had never been very interested in watches, relying purely on G-Shocks 24/7. However, work colleagues and customers have recently combined to convince me I needed something a little better. And (more importantly) I was able to convince my wife of the same thing! Still not quite sure how I managed that. I'm extremely happy with the Colt, which I thought looked just the right size on my smallish wrist. But after lurking around this forum I've naturally become very interested in... my next Breitling, which will be larger. Gotta get the family finances in a little better shape first, but the dream is there. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

:welcome:

Enjoy your time here!

The Colt is a great choice as a first Breitling, especially for us members of the puny wrists club :D

Congratulations and welcome.

It's good to see the colts keeping, and perhaps increasing in popularity - it's a great series of watches.

You know we are here to help you with the next several purchases

Thanks for all the welcome messages. I'll attempt to post photos shortly. I remember seeing some instrux somewhere on the site for doing this, so hopefully I can figure it out...
