Greetings all!!
I have been remiss in not introducing myself before I greedily jumped on, started buying and contributing to posts.
However, this post should make amends.
In the last two months I have acquired a number of Breitlings (as some of you have mentioned/joked about) and still have a handful to go.

In the meantime - this forum seems to be one of the more professional and knowledgeable ones I've come across.

One other observation...

Apart from only one thread I can think of - this forum genuinely seems to be friendly and accommodating (both with newcomers and old hands alike).

So, that's me - personal details:

48 year old Australian (married)
Living in New York Ciity since 2001
Work in IT (Software Architect) for an Investment Bank
Ex-musician, satellite/microwave engineer, consultant & troublemaker

Yes, pro drummer (can read sheet - or could 20 years ago).
:lol:

Spent years in a little booth doing jingles and session work.
Money was good but work not inspiring (toilet cleaner jingles).

Spent 6 years in various bands playing/touring - that was fun but no money. Can't get it both ways I guess...
