Evening all,
I've joined as i'm looking for a 40th birthday present to myself and like the look of the Breitling A13023 (AVI),i'm no expert and heard from one of my friends (a current Ling owner) that this forum was the best source of information and advice :D
I've been browsing the web looking at various watches and will head off to a few of the quality dealers soon as need to meet a few possibilities 'in the flesh'.
Will keep you updated on how my search goes and any advice or recommendations would be very gratefully received :!:

The AVI is an old watch (last made 1995) so not that easy to find and is a sought after model so there are few bargains to be found. eBay and Chrono24 are the usual sources outside of this forum.

You're right SE England,lol,but have had a few in Indonesia as was there with work for a few months a while back :wink:
Didn't realise they were particularly sought after,just liked the styling,quite understated,is it a well thought of watch in the community (mechanism,build etc)??
Are there any things i should pay particular attention to and could you tell me what the original strap would've been??
