Hello All,

My fiance just bought me a Breitling SuperOcean Heritage Cronograph a month ago as a wedding gift. I was a little careless and hit the dining room table. Small scratch that can only be seen at certain angles on the black outer ring and not the crystal. Just wanted to introduce myself as I'm in love with the watch and would like some feedback on what is the safest way to buff out the minor scratch.

Welcome, and grats on the pickup!

Can you post a macro shot of the scratch?

It kinda sounds like it's in the black of the bezel...

Congrats. I like the color combination of this watch(blue dial and black sub dial).

Welcome to BreitlingSource!

If the ding is in the black of the bezel then there's nothing that can be done - just embrace it as the watch's first 'experience mark'.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. @Justin, yes the scratch is on the black of the bezel. This is a bad cell pic but I did try to circle where they are located. Like I said it's only noticable at certain angles. I figure this could be polished out? Not deep scratches at all. Just a blemish that is bothersome.

Like Roff said, sometimes we have to just 'grin and bear it' - it happens to all of us and whilst we hate it, it can have plus sides too (easy to identify if it was stolen and the serial number was removed :D ). At least that's what I tell myself to help from going mad at the few 'dinks' my watch has had.

Oh, and welcome :D .

That first scratch sucks, doesn't it? It's almost a scratch on your very soul. The 200th one doesn't hurt a bit!

Yeah, and by the time you get to 1000 it's time for a service and they all disappear as if by magic :D :D :D :D :D .
