Hey there,

I should have introduced myself a few months ago, instead my first post was in the Replica ID section for my first Breitling a Montbrillant Legende. Soon followed by a Blackbird ID post (and still no intro), then a Chrono Avenger (several candidates till I finally got one). So I wanted to make it right and introduce myself with extra special thanks to the fine people that have endured my frenzied is-it-real posts of late. Thank You Very Very Much.

I'm an CG Artist/Designer (2D & 3D), formerly in the Film Digital SFx industry and currently in the Real-Time Graphics field. As frustrated architect and industrial designer, I'm drawn to the architectural aspects of a given watch and have been known to buy just about anything for that reason. I've loved watches as long as I can remember, but never owned more than 3 till about four years ago. My goal at the time was unique yet affordable pieces for every occasion...so yes, I was trapped by the TV watch thing for a year or so. But that's all over now.

For the last 2 years my collection has expanded into some micro diver brands like Zinex, Halios, and Deep Blue. Then onto more classic brands like Omega, Eterna, Certina, Hamilton, Oris, and now Breitling. I honestly don't know what took me so long to get here and to this great resource you have built.

Thanks again

Many have been tricked by that TV watch company.....But you got away :cheer:
Now you need another new watch to get those bad memories out of your head :lingsrock:

Doctor - I wish, then I could afford more/better watches. Designers (at least me anyway), tend to be hyper observant, extremely detail oriented, and incessantly analytical (we just can't help ourselves). That's probably what led to your conclusion.
