Hello, I am a Father, grandfather, Husband, own a residential plumbing business and am looking forward to retiring in about four years. We have a home in NC in Rolesville and can't wait to get there. My interests, other than watches, are music, mostly jazz, audio, though that is going away as is my hearing, auto racing-cars, photography, and shooting handguns at paper.
Thank you all for having such a great outlet for me to come to and not have someone judging me with, "watches, really".
Best health, Frank

Yes it is fun but I think I am cheating as I just put a Crimson Trace on my LCP and man do I love it. Already have one on the SR9c. Promise not to put one on the Mark III.
Thanks for the post, Best health, Frank

I've got the Crimson Trace on my Kimber Ultra Covert 45. I use it as my carry gun, most days. It is a little like cheating isn't it! If I were to write my introduction it would be remarkably like yours, except the music. Classic rock is my thing.

Welcome! Looking forward to your posts.

Classic rock is great. 60's & 70's for me. My wife likes the real old rock but I get tired of it. You have my respect, Kimber is a very cool gun. As you can see I am a bit of a Ruger guy myself. That SR9c is a sweet gun and as for a carry, that is my LCP. 380 is a little light on power but I have a concealment permit and it allows me to have protection with me when I am collecting money from customers as most times I have to meet them in the evening when they get home from work. I like to try to see them face to face so if there is any question about my work or the job I can handle it immediately. Leaving a customers home after dark with a lettered van makes me a bit of a target so I like having something with me.
Thanks for the Hello and hope to talk more in the future.
Merry Christmas, Best health, Frank

My first hand gun was a Ruger P90 stainless. I still have that sucker. It's built like a tank, and I've put thousands of rounds through it. Way to large and heavy for carrying. I have a Colt Pocketlight 380 I carry when I really need a higher concealment level, otherwise 45's. They make bigger holes!

Could not agree more, 45's make big holes.

Are you a collector for the mob? Jk on my third episode of Boardwalk Empire of the day and your post was eerily familiar

I have been confused with a Mob member but that is about as far from the truth as possible. I have a Plumbing business and work in residential settings 90 percent of the time and meet the customers after they get home from work. I do on site billing with a portable printer and laptop so I generally get paid within 48 hours. I am Italian but my family was never involved in the "Business". :D Just an old guy making a living and trying to retire some day.
Best health, Frank
