Hello all! I am new to this forum and wanted to drop a quick hello. My new job has allowed me the luxury of having some extra cash to play with and one of the things I have always wanted is a Breitling. So I am planning on purchasing one in the very near future but before I do, wanted to do my due diligence. Went to a local store here that carries them (I live in Connecticut, USA) and the Avenger caught my eye. I like the Super Avenger but it was a little too big for my wrist. Any suggestions on what I should be paying for it? I think the retail price was around $4500 but I never pay retail as I'm sure most of you don't either :D The clerk there offered me 20% discount so after tax it was about $3900. Does this seem about right? Thanks guys and I look forward to sharing more stories and learning more about these beautiful watches!

Hi guys-

Just wanted to give you all an update. I purchased my first Breitling this past week! :lingsrock: I ended up going with the Avenger - Black Face, White Subdials, Baton Markers, Stainless Steel Band. Wanted to thank Justin for putting me in touch with George over at Govberg. He was GREAT! Awesome guy to deal with and really hooked me up. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will post pictures of the new addition to my family when I get a chance. :D

Welcome. The price you determined is just about right. But I've gotten close to 30% off on a couple Breitlings, but only ones that had been in stock for a while.
