Hey folks,

Figured I'd join up and post a little about me here. Just picked up my first Breitling, a Colt Oceane with blue dial. It's used, but it is going to be my beater watch for work when I come back to the U.S. this summer for a month, and then next year when I come back "permanently." Looking to pick up one or two more nicer ones for fancier occasions, important meetings and such. Any advice on some nicer Breitlings for formal occasions? Really would like something with a brown leather strap, but we'll see. Some of the Haji (no offense) copies out here are pretty funny. I bought a few Rolex ones just for kicks and because they were $5 a piece :P . Thanks!

Henry :guns:

Welcome Henry. It's great to have you here. As far as a formal Breitling I think I would look at the Navitimer line. Maybe a Navitimer itself or perhaps a Montbrillant.

Kind of like the look of the Navitimer with the steel case/black dial/black leather combo. Might have to pick one up. Are they pretty big?

At 41.8mm it's quite a bit larger than your Colt at 33.2mm. However within the Navi line it's considered to be on the small side. It wears small in my opinion so if you are accustomed to the Colt I don't think you would have any trouble with it.
