Any concerns with this watch: https://www.dcvintagewatches.com/product-page/1940-s-breitling-manual-wind-chronograph.

I know this site is a fairly reputable site, but I'm not so sure about this Breitling. I'm thrown off by the case not having a Ref. number and the serial number not fitting with the range of numbers I've found throughout the inter-webs. I'm thinking its a very early 1940s (maybe late 1930) chrono or the case isn't right.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

the lack of the ref. number isn‘t the main issue here, although late in the transitional period where we see the model references appear, but a lot of other issues. dial is a refinish for me, case very clearly replated, the serial looks laser engraved, not stamped.
