I'm no expert on these, but it looks OK, although the main hands are different to examples I have seen before. The one pictured is from Breitling's "The Book". |

op watch has incorrect hands, these were used in the mid 50s on 11xx and some Premier note The Book also has an incorrect example, the watch on the right has service hands and dial, this particular piece has been haunting me since the mid 90s when these parts were made and that watch appeared in a Breitling Chronolog (iirc 1997). still in The Museum, but not shown publicly anynore. |

thank you for your assessment could I buy the original watch hands somewhere and what would they cost? I could buy the watch for 2500 euros, is that ok? |

There are a few things that dont exactly add up here beyond the hands. the serial number on the watch (468xxx) is too early and the bridge engraving is from much later. Soooo, maybe there is some wacky explanation but to me there are too many issues with this..... |

https://ibb.co/BZvzDk3 I am very concerned with this watch, it looks good, but unfortunately it has a lot of question marks. watch hands too new, watch cover with serial number probably fake, the watch movement is apparently also a mess. But a very nice dial and the price only 2000 euros can you find such original parts on the market? what would something like that cost? |

caseback is fine, it is an early chromed case. hands aren't only newer, they are wrong for the model as nice as the dial is, making the watch "right" will be tough and the chromed case pieces rarely go above 2k even if correct. |

thanks again for your help. the seller thinks the clock hands are original, it is the version without radium. if there were any, I just don't find enough information on the internet |

On the hands, the seller is sadly wrong. The hand should be stick/baton hands. I stick w my earlier point that the watch was not born with that chrono bridge either. |

Hi all I have been looking at 769’s a bit. Did a bit of digging in old catalogs. Found some images of 769’s with black dial that have different style hands. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
