Hello, I was wondering if you could help me out with this 809 from 1965? Iam trying to see if its 1) 100% authentic 2) Overpriced (7250 GBP) If price is not appropriate here, sorry. Thanks in advance!

Looks fine to me. Overall condition is good, and chamfers on the lugs (which are generally a noticeable victim if the case has been polished) are nice and sharp. However, the hands are newer than the rest of the watch, and we’re likely changed at a service. The crown also looks overly clean, so may be a service replacement too.

I can’t comment on price as I have not been watching the market for these.

Rather overpriced. Many good examples advertised on the web for much less.
