This is my first post here since I have found a vintage Breitling I am interested in buying. Although I am not sure if it is a fake/franken-watch. Any help would be much appreciated!

To start, you need to look through reference books to compare known models, but even not knowing anything about the model, you can see that the word Breitling isn’t written in a font Breitling uses, and the track on the dial looks like it was applied with a toothbrush.
