Yeah the watch looks great actually. There´s just one thing that´s bugging me and that is the font in which "Navitimer" is written on the dial. Attachment: Navitimer 806.jpeg Attachment: 1962-Breitling-AOPA-Navitimer-912x1024.jpg If you compare it with the same model from Kurt B´s website, the font is much thinner on his. Stylewise they appear to be the same, but the font thickness differs. Should i be worried? |

Especially the word „Navitimer“, the text is thicker than on all the other examples I‘ve seen previously. I haven‘t been able to find an explaination for this so far and I’m a little worried that it might be a fake. Do you maybe know anything about that? |

I understand your worries. Though i can’t explain why exactly that is, but i also do not see anything wrong and warning on this watch. Looks all ok and authentic to me. And above all, it is already approved by Kurt & Dave. So if i were you, i would not hestitate about its originality, to be honest. |

Thats interesting as I have owned an 809 for over 30 years and came with a curved ends, Breitling clasp milanese mesh bracelet, never assumed it was anything other than authentic...would they be faking these that long ago? I will check it out when back in UK |

I mean its not really a standard run-of-the-mill mesh bracelet with the tappering down from 22mm at the top to 20mm at the bottom. |
