Yeah the watch looks great actually. There´s just one thing that´s bugging me and that is the font in which "Navitimer" is written on the dial.

If you compare it with the same model from Kurt B´s website, the font is much thinner on his. Stylewise they appear to be the same, but the font thickness differs. Should i be worried?

@Mortys, no I haven‘t bought it yet because I‘m kind of worried about the thickness of the font on the dial. Especially the word „Navitimer“, the text is thicker than on all the other examples I‘ve seen previously. I haven‘t been able to find an explaination for this so far and I’m a little worried that it might be a fake. Do you maybe know anything about that?

I understand your worries. Though i can’t explain why exactly that is, but i also do not see anything wrong and warning on this watch. Looks all ok and authentic to me.

And above all, it is already approved by Kurt & Dave.
So if i were you, i would not hestitate about its originality, to be honest.

Thats interesting as I have owned an 809 for over 30 years and came with a curved ends, Breitling clasp milanese mesh bracelet, never assumed it was anything other than authentic...would they be faking these that long ago? I will check it out when back in UK

Right?! That would be so weird! And how could they all be this similar? I mean its not really a standard run-of-the-mill mesh bracelet with the tappering down from 22mm at the top to 20mm at the bottom.
