Hi All,

I am into collection of vintage watches but new into Breitling watches. Saw this 806 online at a very good price which makes me slightly skeptical.

Could I seek your advice on whether there is anything wrong with this piece?

Apologies for the poor resolution photo but that is what the seller posted online.

looks ok from what can be seen. If its cheap, its probably because the dial and hand lume has all gone black.

I see. But that is true for more than half the Navitimer 806 I find online. It is difficult to find one with decent lume left on it.

They're more expensive because they're better. If you're a collector, it pays in pleasure and maybe even money to buy the best you can afford I think.

yes, many have "dead" lume, some offered at outrageous prices. but: do they sell?
I'd wait & hunt for a better example
