High guys, noob here :)

This was purchased in mid-80s from a grey market dealer. Anyone can give me more info? The serial starts with 137... which by looking online makes it a 1971 model.

I don't think it has ever been serviced and still works fine. It has barely been worn during the last 30 years.

Would you recommend to have it serviced at the official center?

You have pretty much worked out what the watch is: a 1970s big-eye Navitimer 806. It might have been re-lumed in the past, but it is always hard to tell from pictures. Irrespective, it looks pretty original and in good condition. Bonus that it comes on a nice period-correct NSA bracelet, which would be even more valuable if the clasp is stamped with the Breitling logo.

I would have it serviced by an independent watchmaker that specialises in vintage watches, and even better if he or she has experience with vintage Breitling. An official [Breitling] centre might more readily replace parts and polish it, which is not what you want to keep its originality, and thus value.

Thanks for your reply! The bracelet has the clasp stamped with the Breitling logo indeed.
