i think the dial is too far gone. Some watchmakers seem to raise rusty movements from the dead, but i would pass personally unless it was super cheap, i'd get it for parts. |

Rust does not look so extended, it looks like superficial , not a real issue . |

I remember Craig did one for me where the rust was near the stem (as it normally would be). The stem had snapped off right at the far end and I had to source a whole new movement plate (possibly from Fred IIRC). Wasnt straightforward. Anyway, as I said, rust doesn't stop some watchmakers. |

Agree, the rust doesn't appear to be much of a problem on this one but the dial is another matter. |
