Hi folks,

I've always fancied owning a Breitling Navitimer (having owned a custom Aerospace for 10 years) and have come to the conclusion that although a new automatic would I'm sure be more practical and reliable, it just doesn't make sense to pay more than it costs to pick up a far more characterful 806! From my reading on here, it is going to take me a considerable amount of time to learn all the in and outs of identifying fake/frakenwatches so thought I'd get some advice about one I've been looking at.

I'd be grateful for any help you could provide!

nice piece, sliderule insert is a service replacement, but that's an issue many Navitimers have.
realistically/fairly priced.

It's a personal choice but I prefer the subdials when they are more white. As a minimum, whatever the colour, it's best if the sliderule tone matches the subdial tone. If you are patient, for that money you can find a better specimen I think.... Just my opinion.

Doh, it sold the same day as my post! Did someone on here pick it up?
