Any thoughts on this ref 765 on ebay. I don't seen to many with the AOPA wings. What are your thoughts on overall condition?

Thanks,

Optimistically priced at best and that sweep hand is wrong. I think I paid around $800 for mine about two years ago. I would think value is currently in the $2500-$3500 range for a good one now.

Also running seconds hand not correct, too thin and too short.

Good spot on the hands, thanks. I agree about the asking price, one on chrono for around £2000, but $800, seems like you got yourself a bargain!

agree re the incorrect hands - price is delusional even for a correct piece in impeccable condition.

Paul, the 800 were a steal two years ago and you know that ;) these things did happen and continue to happen today and we are hunting for them, just like others try to win the lottery, but "expecting" such prices would be .... quite unrealistic.

auctions for good pieces have ended well above the $/€ 3k range and continue to rise.
