Hi there again. I finally got my first 7806-S last weeks. Will post pictures as soon as I am able to take good ones.

In the meantime here is another nice example I am thinking of buying. So please let me hear your valuable opinions.

Watch serial is 9327XX

Thanks for the info.
Is there a thread on the issue of reluming an old dial? How does it affect the watch's value?

Manfred

Based on the fairly poor pictures you present, I wouldn't hesitate for a second that it's all original, that the numbers never have been redone, and pay accordingly.

But maybe René sees or knows something that I don't, and it would be interesting to know, if so.......

Hi guys,

here is another watch that looks nice on pictures - and now that I know how to upload better quality, here we go.

Please share your thoughts and give me a price range if possible.

Serial starts with 932XXX

Cheers
Manfred

Didn't you just post the same exact watch two days ago? Kurt said original Dracha said relumed.

Anyway I had a '63 with similar puffy lume and wouldn't hesitate to buy this watch for a good price. ... Crystal is wrong but that's an easy fix.

What is the price?

And... If you pass please forward me the details ;-)

I suspect relume because the 8 and 5 look 'off' , not done fluently but hesitant
also all the painted numbers look to be completely filled in, not a trace of paint number to be seen on the dial anymore

anyway , just trying to do a best guess off not so good pics :-)

Perhaps someone could merge the two threads. This is confusing

Done, and yes it was.

Majorfred, please don't start multiple threads for the same watch.

The eight and the ten on my dial are very similar

Perhaps minor imperfections exaggerated by time...

Especially since many of these later all black dials appear to have lume which has gotten extra puffy and porous over time.
