Hi guys, just seen this.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/131658919368?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

I have few queries.
#1 no mention of 'Swiss made' either side of six o'clock.
#2 no patent number or Swiss cross.
#3 no mention of 'chronomat' model name.
#4 inclusion of both Breitling italic script and "B" on a 1940's ref 769
#5 no arrow radiating from 44.5/100ths of a minute to 26:30 seconds on the dial pointing to "H"
#6 hands look too chunky ( ratio of hand to lume seems to great)
#7 Breitling script looks to have been refinished poorly, similar to many S America frankens.
#8 untidy and what looks to be later style engraving/signature of the movement.

Am I being too picky? It's a shame as I really like the steel case/all black dial combo.
I have seen an original ad with no "Swiss made" on a '47' ref769....... (On this forum I think.)

Thoughts please if you could spare the time.

Mike.

Just good for parts at a fraction of the price!
Dial + hands can go directly into the closest bin.
Chrono bridge and WOG cock engraved recently and unappropriate on a 1947 Chronomat .

Probably a watch equivalent of california tuning, something in the style " Pimp my watch" ... a pity :guns:
