I have a watch, which I was always told came to the UK during WWII as my grand parents moved from Poland / Ukraine through Europe to England.
The second hand moves without jumping, and I have no reason to think it’s a fake – but I can not find a picture like it anywhere on the web.

The face is black with gold lettering, it is a wind, has no fancy bevel or navigator type dials on the outside, but it only has the main face and one inset, 1 minute clock.

I’ve attached a photo in case you know the model.

After some searching – the back reads “stainless steel” and a marking number – 317975

Do you know what model it is please and rough circa ?

Case is consistant with a 156 in the 46 catalog so it appears alright.

yes, but it's really faint, it's 156 underneath the number
