they usually become quite defensive.
My original comment was - "Landeron 48 - never used by Breitling. Your watch is a FAKE! Confirm on Breitling Source"
Response - "not true, do your homework..... "
Additional response - "You do not know that much.... Your comments are not helpful or correct. Go away and do your research.
Any more comments and you will be reported to ebay."
I would appreciate it if all of you could confirm and send him a note through ebay that his watch is a fake and that you have reported it to ebay. Not that ebay will ever take it off but at least we can enlighten him.

I always like to appeal to their sensibilities (if they have any) and sent him this along with reporting it:

"Because you have a perfect 100% feedback I'll take the time to inform you this watch is a copy meant to deceive. I see a lot of these that come out of Eastern Europe or South America. Breitling never used the Landeron 48 movement and the engraving on the movements bridge has been added. The dial has been redone, along with the Breitling script, and the crown is wrong. In addition, all Breitling's from this period will have a three digit reference number and six digit serial number that can be easily researched for authenticity. If this is a consignment piece I suggest you return it. Have a great day."

"as you have impeccable feedback, you are probably not aware this watch is a pathetic fake ? dial is redone, movement was never used by Breitling, case is missing correct serial number & model reference"

well, there's a suprise:

Hi
Thank you for your knowledge. Yes I was unaware. I have seen Landeron 48's in Brietlings on ebay before. These examples are still to be seen in 'completed listings' and sold. I realise the case has been replaced. But thought that was it....
As you can now see the watch has been removed from the site.
Will have to think what to do with it??????
Have a good day.
With kind regards Stuart

Thanks for your confirmation and help - I must have done my homework. All he can do with that one is put a Chronographe Suisse dial on it and an unsigned bridge and sell it for $300 at best.
