This dial does not look quite right to me, mainly due to the font on the dial numerals (the beginning of the "2" seems too short, doesn't curve enough and square to bottom), and the hour register looks different.

Am I wrong on this? Is this a correct dial? Other thoughts on the piece?

not just walk away but its completely incorrect

its either
1) wrong hour, minute and chrono hand , wrong case and wrong bezel

or

2) wrong dial
