I thought this double signed printed logo was only made for the Cosmonaute? Is it an outright fake dial on this 806?

Thx Kurt. Judging by the response you may be the only one not bidding on it

Would you say (slightly) polished case and sub hand not correct?

Not bidding either!

minute counter hand far from correct. must admit I'm not totally convinced the dial lume is original, but if Kurt says so .....

must also admit that I never bid on Bill's listings anymore, some watch descriptions bear no resemblance to the watches for sale and on nicer pieces, surprisingly, whenever a watch sells for a decent price it reappears some weeks later on one of his other accounts, over and over again until he achieves the price he was looking for.

if you want to laugh, have a look at this recent listing, described as an OUTSTANDING 1966 AOPA with "light patina on the dial"

Don't want to speak for him but I think Kurts response was solely in response to my question about the dial branding... The Aopa / Breitling double signed printed dial. First time I saw one, it was on a Cosmonaute, and I was sure it was fake... Further research proved me wrong and it's even documented on Kurts timeline (iirc)

I had previously advised someone that if they ever come across this dial on an 806, to run as fast as possible the other way. And when this piece popped up I was curious if I was wrong.

To further clarify previous post , Kurts timeline states in note 8 that the non-exclusive AOPA + Breitling dial appears on the 809. I was questioning whether it ever appeared on an 806
