So now that the auctions over... What was your opinion on this piece?? Looked like the bezel was totally wrong and the hands seemed incorrect... Or were they just alternative versions? Not very many out there to compare to.

no alternative versions, Franken like so many aother items in this auction.

by far not the worst, they had a HeuerSeiko Autavia, or did you see the BreitlingHeuer FrankenOcean, lot. 70 ?

Well it is unfortunate because I really wanted to bid on a couple pieces...But after seeing the 817 and then the Longines "military" chronograph (lot 12, not military AFAIK) stamped ref 8224 (which is supposed to make it a square dive watch) I was too scared to bid on anything.

the FrankenOcean went for 3+fees, so buyer cost around €4k/$5k

a wonderfully unique AutaviaSeiko (lot 92 if u want to shudder) sold at buyers cost €3.3/$4k
