If the watch was produced for the European market it very likely would not have the import code as these codes were used for watches being exported to foreign markets, I.E., the U.S. Wayne |

Normal after ( 1967 or 1969?) , WOG was stamped only for exportation outside Europe |

I think I said that! There is no import code so watch is a Euro piece. ![]() Wayne |

answers above could be a bit confusing - as far as I have seen all Navitimers from 1954 onwards do have import codes (BOW or WOG), whether they are US versions for Wakmann or AOPA distribution or Europe and ROW dealer's network versions - but in 1967 (don't have the exact date) the law requiring those import marks was lifted and NO movements bore those marks. There might be some overlap, but a 1969 with marks would be incorrect, just like a 1966 without, so your "late 60s) would have to be a bit more precise ? |

Sorry, I knew this fact and should have been more elaborate with my answer as Fred. But was correct too. LOL!!! It was late. Parky's have trouble sleeping..... and are pissy about it. Excuse my attitude in my previous replies Saabreit. ![]() Wayne |

no worries, Wayne - and good morning ! am sure Phil doesn't mind, but as this forum is a (the only?) relevant information resource available to collectors, I tend to try and make things as clear and understandable to the casual reader as I can. |
