Funny thing is the case might really be legit other than the inscription on the case back that is. The rest well, were do you start..... Seller says more than 100 years old. Hmmm, makes it a 1914 model, ok!!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/BREITLING-MONO- ... 1222335181 Wayne |

They had phenomenal dial manufacturing in 1914. That dial will last for ever and never fade. |

After telling the seller of the news of this piece which the seller replied he had one of the best Breitling experts around verify the authentity of this piece I received this reply..... Thank you, again, I do appreciate your input. A while a go I had a watch that was engraved "Wakmann by Breitling" on the Dial (looked untouched & original), and Montbrillant in the inside cover, as well as the Bridge, many said that it was not authentic. A Collector bought it from me, and did pay me a very fair price for it. You know, as time goes by, I always get surprised with new findings in regards to vintage watches. Kindest regards. To which I replied...... That is clearly a very interesting one indeed. But to that I can only add, a 16th century man named Thomas Tusser said in a rhyme a saying we us today, "A fool and his money are soon parted". Avoid this seller that all costs!!!!!!! Wayne |

Looks good but Breitling and Swiss Made have been added to it. Clearly! Wayne |
