Can anyone confirm the authenticity of this watch? If authentic, then what is an appropriate valuation based upon the condition?

very early ref. 769, sliderule insert refinished as seller states, but far from perfect work.

Wakmann marking is a bit strange on a 1942.
hard to put a fair value on this watch, the 769 have risen in price lately, but this one isn't among the better preserved pieces, so 1.5k max I'd say.
