Hi, I thought these Bullheads have a crown at the bottom too but strangely this one doesn't?

Also is this one original?

Has Google stopped working in Australia again?

Every 7101 ever made had a 12 o'clock crown because it was a manual wind watch.

As for the 2117, having been here for some time soaking up the experience of experts, ask yourself how likely it is to be completely original with the date font angled like that!

well, maybe something's wrong with one of these then, crown at 12 ?
;) San !

and that ebay piece: actually had a member we had helped cancelling his purchase of that one - Breitling did NOT mix blue dial and brown tachy rings !

c24 piece w/ the "wrong crown" (not!) seems very nice btw, seems to come from the OWJ stock, still better to check the movement is correct.

Thanks Roff, Fred, got confused with the crown at 6 on this one on Hodin***, didn't know there are manual and auto versions of these, now I know:). Was just checking them out after read about the Omega Bullhead reissues.

San, the piece from Germany is at the upper end of reasonable for a 7101, but not unfair; truly corrrect pieces are really quite rare - and nice.

Have seen very nice and totally correct Cal. 12 sell around 4k (and some incorrect Frankens in the same range, unfortunately), but 2.5/4k €/$ between lucky buy and fair value.

Thanks for the advice Fred, I have noticed the blue dial ones never appear?
