Hello all! My first post here...

I have a question about some oddities on a pending transaction for a vintage Breitling 806.
The bridge on the movement is stamped WXE --not BOW or WOG.
Serial #1022xxx on the case.
(On the dial) No "B" but "Breitling Geneve," above, with the wings below that, but no "AOPA" in the banner. "Navitimer" above the six.
All black subdials.

Also, I counted 94 beads...

Does anybody have any ideas to identity and year/rarity?

Many thanks to all!

WXE is definitely incorrect and points to a fake / franken piece

Pics are needed to say anyting about the dial

WXE is Welsbro Watch Co., clearly incorrect for a Navitimer 806.

dial SOUNDS correct for a non-AOPA, but, considering the fact the watch has clearly been frankenized as Renè says, need pics to say anything relevant.

Thank you to Rene and the other responders. Collectively, you just saved me thousands of dollars. Aesthetically, the watch won me over; I didn't find out about the "BOW" or "WOG" differences until visiting this site. I am in your debt...

Many thanks!

Just remember if the Venus movement bridge is correctly marked Breitling then the WXE on the balance cock can easily be changed, for little money, to a more correct unmarked piece. The Welsbro 178's are not usually guilded movements so if the movement doesn't have a gold color it is most likely a complete replacement.
