Hi everyone on this Forum. I am new here so I want to salute everybody. I need your expertise help because I bought a nice Co-Pilot Top-Time 7656 on Ebay - http://www.ebay.it/itm/151126544667?ssP ... 1436.l2649 Now a friend who have Breitlings for many years told me it's not original because that 7656 with that Dial Top-Time was never manufactured by Breitling. I already mailed to the seller and he guarantee it's 100% genuine and sent me pictures from page 204 of THE BOOK. Really on this book it refers that model is present there. Pls let me know your thoughts. Many thanks for all help. |

Well let's put it this way...... You bought from the most notorious vintage faker in the business, as well as one of the nastiest people. If I could find absolutely nothing wrong with one of his watches then I would still doubt the authenticity. He has been banned from here on countless occasions and you will find absolutely no one (other than his own aliases) who will support him. |

1) if you bought from him you overpaid by at least 100% 2) There is no such thing as a AVI Co-Pilot Toptime , you have a 1976 toptime with a rotating bezel 3) although it looks ok, anything from this seller is suspect 4) there are 2 'camps' on these pieces, 1 side believes they are original the other side believes they are put together from parts that were sold after the liquidation of the original Breitling company |

On the other hand you don't tell me what's wrong with the watch objectivelly.... As I posted at page 204 on THE BOOK the watch is presented there, ao I don't know anymore Thanks any way for your contribution |

I am not sure what your question is/are ? Please ask questions , maybe I can give you an answer ? And please dont compare vintage Breitling with any other brands that have release records, Breitling was liquidated end of the 70ies, no official records are known anymore fom anything released prior to 1980, maybe the current Breitling company has them but theyre not releasing them, so we have to piece together info as we go amd learn more from investigations like the one you quoted above, collecting catalogs, old ad's etc Furthermore there are many fakes / fakers , and the person you bought your watch from is the worst or the worst, so anything sold and or offered by him is usually discarded immediately by people on this forum |

What I want to know is IF this watch Breitling Co-Pilot Top-Time 7656 Valjoux 7736 I bought on Ebay from the guy you all tell me is the bigger scammer on Ebay, is an Original watch or not. Above people are telling me this model doesn't existed but on your post from Feb 2014 you posted it was released on 1975 and you add a picture with a watch just alike the one I bought. So after all the model exist or not ? That's all I want to know. I told the seller to hold it because it will not be necessary to send it to me if I get enough information it's a fake, no need for a Paypal dispute. Many thanks in advance for your opinion |

OP = Original Poster, the person who started the thread, you. I was implying that you were looking for opinions that you liked because when you get some (from a man with tremendous knowledge) that you don't like you become a little defensive. Edit - bnewbie beat me to it. |
