our well known China fakers now have a UK outlet, so please beware: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Swiss-B ... 7675.l2557 I truly hate it when such junk is sold for $700 ! "The condition of this watch is top notch! If you're looking for one of these you will be hard pushed to find a nicer example. Runs / winds beautifully and keeps good time, as you would expect for a Breitling that has just been professionally serviced. Gleaming inside and out - unlike some watches which looks nice externally but have corroded movements. This watch is approximately 63 years old and dates from circa 1951. The face and hands are in wonderful condition as they have been professionally refinished. Comes complete with a beautiful wooden Breitling box and white sleeve worth £95. " crook. more on offer http://www.ebay.com/sch/gary_ellam/m.ht ... 7675.l2562 |

Fred it's a very sad situation for people who don't do their homework. When they do find out they bought junk and were ripped of it will most likely turn them off from ever buy another nice Breitling again. |

Just note that the guy uses fake box with actual logo => maybe in the scope of Breitling SA fake-busters ? . For once Breitling SA could have a positive action for us ? |

Interesting point. A faker using a modern Breitling logo infringes the trademark rights of the present day Breitling company's current trademark registrations. I would think the company's trademark enforcement arm would be interested in shutting down this guy. Although he is very small - he is on a well known web site - eBay - and using the mark of flagrantly and openly... |

If Breitling don't care about the hundreds of contemporary cakes clogging up eBay what makes you think that they will care about this? eBay has a program for copyright owners to work with eBay to protect their brand and yet evidence would suggest that all Breitling fake busting happens on forums like this one. |
