Hello all.
I am after some expert opinions on this top time http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301163680750
Sub dial hands definitely replacements.
Crown and pushers too?
Seller says it's a 2002.
Thanks.

I can't give you expert opinion - others here clearly can - but curious that he has many other watches for sale, but on this particular one he has not shown a photo of the movement - he did on all the others I quickly sampled. My thought is I'd maybe take a chance on a private seller not taking off a caseback, but a dealer should be happy to. So, request a movement shot and perhaps post it here if you want feedback on that too.

I think if it's a 2002 he probably have a little more difficulty in showing movement?

Gen. 2 case, '67 or later, so no problem to take off the caseback. all hands incorrect.

Hi Fred.
Are the pushers and crown wrong too?
I take it finding correct hands not easy!!

unsure re the pushers, crown is wrong, finding hands almost impossible.

and I'd clearly like to see a movement shot of this one, too much incorrect here. most probably not a Venus 188 in 1967 or later, might be a correct Valjoux 7730, might be a 7733 if the watch is later, might be whatever.

I have asked the seller for case and movement shots and willing to drop price considerably... But couldn't live with those hands!
On with the search!
