so will I. dial is refinished, engraving inside the caseback is surprising. pics of movement not clear enough to judge the bridge marking.

Fred, I've seen the 785 with the Valjoux movement and the Venus movement. Were they used simultaneously or was one before the other?

Fred, I've seen the 785 with the Valjoux movement and the Venus movement. Were they used simultaneously or was one before the other?


simultaneously from the late 1940s onwards, I think, though cases/lugs are quite a bit different. the 191s I remember were GP cases only, but I wight be wrong, have to look into that a bit.
