Fred enlighten me to the problems with it. I thought Bill was a trusted seller until lately.
Thanks, Rick

Hands are incorrect , from a b/w model

dial might be from a GP as it looks yellowish but that might just be the image quality

dial is probably correct, just the pics; but the hands are VERY incorrect for an all black - and very hard to replace; the sliderule is a refinish, I think.

calling that "all original" is quite wrong.

I thought the sliderule was correct , not a typical replacement ?

anyway , its still incorrect with those hands, and as Fred said, very hard (near impossible) to find correct replacements

Interestingly, the instruction book had the correct hands. So the instruction book obviously deviates from the watch that is for sale.

I had read on various sites including here that Shaine was very honest and competent. So one of these traits now must be questioned. Maybe I am lucky to have missed out on this Top Time watch recently. Someone else got there first.

Breitling 810 Top Time. It's gold with black dial. It's an ebay item listed as 1969 model with papers.

As Fred told you when you asked about that piece, it is perfectly correct.

He is laughing all the way to the bank. When people pay these prices for incorrect watches it makes the survivor pieces look bad in my eye as people are becoming uneducated on what is correct and incorrect. This is just a sad for the vintage Breitling community. It only takes one apple......
