In terms of slide rule replacement, is this an issue sourcing the parts - is NOS available readily, or NS for that matter? I assume crystals is readily available?

Plexi's are readily available, you need the 'sternkreuz M386' or M384 , depending on size

Siderule rings require searching , they are sometimes offered on Ebay
