What do you guys have to say about this one?

This is the image from the seller of the movement - which he claims IS signed. Image quality is very low unfortunately.

Look at the Breitling Cadette marking on the dial and ask yourself - does it look the same age as the rest of the dial, and does it look like it is refined enough to have been produced by Breitling? A double caseback is never correct and there are no model or serial numbers on it - stay well away.

I currently have a Chronographe Suisse from this era and I would agree and say that this piece in question reminds me a lot more of the Chrono suisse than it does some of the real Breitlings you guys have identified in the past.
Yes, the word "Rubies" looks different from "Cadette" in terms of wear - I see what you mean.

Thanks again! Slowly I am beginning to be able to recognize some of these - although I'm sure it takes a lifetime to master. Just in my brief time posting here I've learned a ton!

Maybe I should start another thread for this but - is there any good internet or paper literature that I can read on what Breitling produced when?

Best resource is Benno Richter's book, readily available on Amazon. It's car from perfect but about the best. These days a search of here is probably more likely to yield rewards as well.
