I have an old Breitling Premier, probablys from the late 60's ot early 70's and on the caseback it says, Limited edition(012/100).
It has pushers like a daytona, and the case looks a bit like the Space compax from Universal Geneve.
I have never seen this model elsewhere or seen other with the limited edition writing on the caseback before(vintage Chronographs)
Is there any one out there who knows something about the watch or know the story behind the limited editions?

I have attached a photo of the watch(only the front). I can upload a photo of the caseback if someone needs to see that.

not a Franken, this would indicate the usage of at least some Breitling components & some similarities to an authentic piece; not true in this case; sorry.

Doesnt look like any breitling i have seen before , not even familiar parts so i expect this started its life as something completely different

It seems that it has been put together with some original Breitling parts at least.
There is a Signed Breitling Crown, and the Case back is also Signed with the Breitling name, and the watch looks rather "complete" overall so its a quite cunningly fusion of parts!!

you may choose to believe it's a correct Breitling caseback, but it isn't. crown might be authentic.

as I said above, crown might be authentic, the rest has no similarities to an authentic Breitling, including that caseback.

NOTHING (but the crown, something you can buy from several sources, well below $20) shows ANY similarities to an authentic vintage Breitling.

Do you think that Breitling can confirm that it isn't an original piece.
I mean, will they reply to any mail regarding to this subject.

Breitling may (or may not) confirm , I am positive they cannot confirm because the Breitling of today is a completely different company it was before 1980 and all the knowledge about pre 1980 watches is basically gone

I have seen them confirm authenticity on watches that were clearly fakes before

But please go ahead and do what you must if you do not believe the combined knowledge of true vintage Breitling experts

the one place that may be able to help are horologicalservices in teh US ( http://www.horologicalservices.com/ ) those are the authorized vintage service and repair in teh USA

Not that anyone who has opined so far needs confirmation, but that watch is fake.
