I have a Breitling one button chrono. Unsigned. Made for the RCAF. Circa 1962 - 1967. Is not working and I would like to know if it would be worthwhile getting it fixed. Also how to I find out if it is in fact a Breitling. http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag4 ... 1394244565 http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag4 ... 1394330922

Well the first step would be to post pictures so that we can take a look and advise.

Its a real breitling

Personally i would value it around 2250 to 2500 if its in pristine , serviced and fully working condition
Yours a little less as its looks quite used ?

Watch has been sent to Govberg for overhaul:
I have received authentication that my watch is in fact a Breitling and have received an estimate to do a complete overhaul by Govberg. Now can anyone give me an estimated value of the watch after overhaul? Require estimate only so I can decide if I want to spend the money for overhaul.

As a newbie I don't know if I'm posting the right way - I'll try this again. My Breitling one button RCAF is out for overhaul with Govberg. I wanted to know the estimated value of this watch after a complete overhaul so I can decide if I want to pay the price to do the job. Thanks

I'm not sure why you keep asking the same question when Rene has already answered it - if anyone disagreed they would have said so in the first thread that you created.

Merging the threads.

Sure would have liked to have seen our in-house magician do his stuff on this one. Sure that Govberg will do a nice job just the same, more mouths to feed shall I say.

Who is the in house magician? I found Govberg's repair estimate a bit high so I'm inclined to shop around. Do you know of a place in Canada?

I would email Craig at ChronoDeco.com. He is a member in great standing here and does work for most of our most senior members. His work is impeccable.
