I'd like to see the outer caseback; dial and case condition don't really match, but I see no sign of refinishing ? |

Fred someone asked the question about case #'s on the back. The answer was 673630 171 which must be the ref # |

Rick....did you pick this up. I was watching and was high bid until it got snatched away at the last minute! Hope that was you or someone else on here who will get it running and love it! I will continue the hunt for a vintage piece from the 40's Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk |

I was just below you on bidding. Craig could have restored that to pristine condition. He has a company that refinishes the cases. In this case the case would have to be replated in Nichol. He has had several cases refinished for me and they came out beautiful. There is something to be said about buying a watch that needs repair as long as the dial is in great shape. It is going to need service anyway and Craig works wonders. And usually a watch not running will sell for a great price. GOOD LUCK ON YOU VINTAGE HUNT. IF I COME ACCROS ANYTHING I WILL PM YOU. Thanks Rick. You have quite the vintage collection from what I have seen from your posts. I have slowly been learning and had bought my first Breitling (chronomat 41 LE) from a member on here back in December. There is just something about a timepiece that has already been running and used for over 60 years that draws my interest. I have seen some of the work Craig does and it is amazing!!
