Hi all. Found this online and price seems too good to be true. Is this real? I know the strap is a replacement. Can anyone identify the model? Seller says its from the 50s but cannot identify

Difficult to see any detail due to the size of the pictures. Prior to the 1950's for sure. Unusual to have a signed bridge which would make me ask the seller for larger pics before bidding.

Paul does not need our confirmation - let us see the additional pics and we'll be happy to add our pov.

Couldn't get any pics of the movement but here is a better shot of the face. Thoughts??

Well bigger photo of the face, not necessarily better. Hands wrong, crown wrong, not completely convinced by the dial and movement is still a mystery - I would stay clear as there are many better examples out there.

Cheers for that Roffensain. Might rethink! In your experience is this typically the sign of a fake, or years of Frankenstein repair jobs? Sorry.. new to the vintage watch thing!

There are a lot of franken / fakes out there and in the absence of good photos you have to wonder what the seller is trying to hide. It's obvious that some elements are a long way from original - the crown for example so if someone didn't care enough to even get a close to original crown then why would they care if anything else was original?

Cheers again Roff and everyone else. Might steer clear of this one. Unfortunately the budget doesn't extend to buying a "good" breitling so it might have to go back on the wishlist in favour of a tissot or mondaine or something..

appreciate all the feedback and advice!
