real, but not vintage. these Limited Editions were sold by the "new" Breitling in the late 1980s to mid 1990s, bull story was they happened to "find" some vintage movements in their stock (that has actually been sold to others a decade earlier, some of the movements had never been documented to be used by Breitling like an Eberhard, markings and bridges are totally different from true vintage B movements) and decided to launch these revival piecs.

nice, but do not really sell well on the secondary market, though here u have relevant gold value w/ the bracelet.

The caseback looks like one of those contentious 'reissues' that Schneider did and the dial would be consistent with that. Don't like the machined bridge on the movement though which looks like someone removed the original maker (although I vaguely recall seeing that before on a supposed reissue - but not this bas a job).

Is this an attempt to push them off as vintage because of the so called vintage movements or are they caught in limbo between vintage and modern?

Breitling never tried to position them as vintage (although as Fred points out the movement claims were dodgy), more 'throwback' - this seller is either uneducated or trying to inflate the price.

this piece is all in line with the one I used to have a long time ago, including the "rebranded" bridge , the bracelet is not original to the watch , or even a breitling bracelet , might be gold though

not vintage but indeed an early 1990ies re-issue

I no longer buy the old 'found in warehouse' story

my current opinion

the 'found in the Breitling factory' can be taken with a few grains of salt , how about 'during the late 80ies early 90ies a batch of NOS Venus movements were found in the ESA factory and were sold off to ML, Breitling (and others?)' and each took part of the batch. ML built their Masterpieces with it , Breitling their re-issues
