Could actually be an original case / caseback and movement - dial is obviously redone and I guess that the hands were just laying around somewhere. |

The dial is redone in an approximative style . The hands are in the style of those used on the pilot's watches of the period 1940-1946 but probably replated and relumed . The rest of the watch looks authentic for a 179 . |

There were other watch companies that used this case with the 178/179 reference numbers on the back. |
