The 7's in the serial number have hooks which i did not see on others from the period and the 8 in 787 is thin compared to the other numbers. The dial might be a replacement as it looks to good for the age and the number markers are straight lines"l" vs the "I" i've seen on others from the period.

stamped serial and ef. numbers are always a bit uneven, perfectly correct here.

and regarding that dial .........
maybe I should be concerned too ? :shock:

Dial looks fine to me - you can see that the lume at 12 is correctly aged.
