Hi everybody, I´m brand new here; my name is Eric, I´m from Holland. I do not know a whole lot about watches, but I do own a small but treasured collection, consisting of an IWC Mark XV, a 70s Omega Speedmaster and a vintage Breitling...or so I hope... I bought this watch a number of years ago in a small vintage shop in Holland, quite impulsively and naively, without really wondering what exactly it was. Recently I have gotten more curious about it and started searching the internet intensively, but with no success. I have noticed it looks like a Top Time and various other watches with the Valjoux 7733 movement, but that´s as far as I got. No picture of it to be found anywhere. I then went to a watchmaker specialized in vintage watches, who assured me that it´s real, and that in fact it´s a pretty rare Breitling. Of course I would love to believe him, but before getting too excited I would greatly appreciate a second opinion from you guys. So, is it real, or fake, or Franken? And if it´s real, what would the value be? Thanks a lot! |
