Looks like a nice watch and for once not converted into a Breitling but whats with Quickset? Thought Quickset came much later?

nice watch, VERY trusted seller
and the 72C HAS a date quickset, or do you change the date by advancing the hands on your 785 ?

oky, thanks Fred, he means the pointer pinhole quickset:)..thought he meant quickset by winding it so was curious how. Surely looks a great original watch.

I seriously doubt he will have a problem shipping to the UK.

A query, why does the watch have no serial number? Do Wakmaans have a serial number chart?

FYI - it was my watch. I also sell as aerochrono on ebay. I looked again for a serial number but there is none. The outside of the back has 33.4 on it but it must be a reference number.
Earliest models of the 72c did not a quick set for the day, just to month and the date hand. You had to turn the hands throught 24 hours to advance the day. Later models like this one allow the top left pusher to advance the month if you push it part way in and if pushed all the way in, it will advance both the day and month.
Just sent the buyer a note asking with he will send payment. Others have been asking to buy it. Someone in Belgium asked why he could not bid on it but I did not restrict it to the US only - some kind of ebay glitch.
This is a rare models that I have only seen a couple of times in the past.

Oops Craig, didn't know it was yours:), surely looks great. I got confused by the serial number not being on it.
