Hello all.


I saw and bid on this watch but missed out (maybe a blessing!). However it has remained on my mind so I need to scratch the itch. This is a link to the dead sale:

I just read in another thread that there seem to be lot of fakes coming out of Argentina, so I'm intrigued to know if it's one of the many counterfeits.
I think it a very handsome and well designed piece and would consider something else similar. I particularly like the shape of the body and the domed glass. I also like how the crown in very slim adding to the outer shape. I also like the uncluttered silver dial against the black background as well as the shape of the arms.

Ask yourself - how likely is it that a 60 year old watch would look brand new?
