Are they readily available for replacement?

They sometimes show up on ebay.

Yeah, those hands are wrong all around. Look Circa 1970's. I have been looking for hands for mine to no avail. Only option I have found is Horological Services, they can get NOS replacements no problem. You have to have them do the work, won't sell parts. Heck you can't find them ,unless you are willing to wait till the cows come home that is.

Is it me or does the case look wrong too?

How much do these inconsistencies devalue a watch like this?

to a collector it would be unwearable in this condition - though finding hands is not impossible, just needs a lot of patience.

but we are not the "market" - we often see restored pieces w/ refinished dials and incorrect hands sell at high prices, just because they look "like new", so this one might find a buyer too.

just to show how a correct black panda gen. 1 ref. 810 should look:

Greg seems right, btw. case is wrong for a monocoque ref. 810. do not have access to my watches to compare, but quite strange.

Gosh Fred, what the heck! $1950 with those hands, maybe I should have been looking for Navitimer hands for 810 all this time. I might break $2500!
