Original, but the back looks heavy worn. Maybe lume was removed, it's not clearly visible on the photos.

I think, the price is too high.

Should I even bother with this one?

I don't see anything wrong with the watch. The backs on these large style watches are lightly printed and often the information is completely unreadable. Asking prices seem to vary between $3k and $5k but in reality these sell for less when in an auction format.

Yeah I don't see anything wrong with the caseback either. Seems to be in good condition, just a bit on the high side.

I'm really still not sure if I'm ready for a vintage ling yet, but I knew I'd get the correct info here first. Ill see what the bottom dollar is and go from there.
Thanks again guys!

If you call them "ling's," then I don't think you're ready.

Ahhh, Bill. It's a generational thing. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell a hash tag (?) is. Thought they were pound signs for 60 years and then they change. Guess that's why I'm probably the only person in the country that doesn't have, or want, a cell phone.

In medical documentation # is shorthand for fracture.

Took me a while to stop reading people's 'hash tags' as saying "fractured breitling" lol
